1. Data controller

The Balinaisa.ai indoor and outdoor layout simulator is published by Balinaisa, in partnership with Paktiz for its technical implementation. For any question regarding your personal data, you can contact us at contact@balinaisa.com.

2. Data collected

When you use the simulator, we collect:

• The information you provide voluntarily (first name, last name, email, phone, company name where applicable, purchase horizon, style preferences);
• The photo of your space that you upload, used to generate your simulation;
• Technical data (IP address, device type, browser) and audience measurement data (visit source, campaign parameters), for the purposes of proper operation, security and statistics.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

• Generate your layout simulation and your estimated quote;
• Contact you about your project, if you have consented to it;
• Improve the quality and reliability of the service.

4. Legal basis

The processing of your data is based on your explicit consent, collected when you submit the form, as well as on Balinaisa's legitimate interest in responding to your simulation request.

5. Data recipients

Your data is intended for Balinaisa and for the technical providers strictly necessary to run the simulator: hosting and processing automation, automated image generation, bot protection, and audience measurement. Some of these providers may be located outside the European Union; where that is the case, appropriate safeguards govern the transfer. Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Trackers and local storage

The simulator uses no advertising tracker: no ad-network pixel, no advertising audience building, no resale of data. Here is the full inventory of what is stored on or read from your device. The first four items are strictly necessary to run the service, to its security, or fall under an audience measurement exempt from consent:

• Language preference (browser local storage): remembers your FR/EN choice so the simulator is shown to you in the right language;
• Campaign parameters (UTM, local storage): kept for the duration of your visit to attribute your request to its original channel, as part of processing your simulation;
• Bot protection: the Cloudflare Turnstile service may store technical information strictly necessary to the security of the form;
• Privacy-friendly audience measurement: we use Plausible Analytics for aggregated and anonymous statistics (number of visits, page views), with no cookie, no personal data and no cross-site tracking. This tool meets the exemption criteria of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, and therefore does not require your consent.

Google audience measurement

We use Google Tag Manager to load our measurement tools, and Google Analytics to understand how the simulator is used: pages viewed, which steps are actually completed, and the channel you arrived through. The aim is to improve the tool, not to identify you.

Your IP address is anonymised: Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores it. We enable no Google advertising signals, no ad personalisation, and no linking of your visit with other Google services. We send this tool none of the information you enter in the form: not your name, not your email address, not your phone number, not your photo.

This measurement relies on cookies set by Google, and the data is processed by Google Ireland Limited. You can opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by turning on your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.

The fonts are hosted on our own server: no data is sent to a third-party font service when you visit.

7. Retention period

Prospect contact details are kept for a maximum of 36 months from your last contact with us, in line with the durations recommended for commercial prospecting. The photo of your space that you uploaded, along with the generated visuals (renderings of your simulation), are kept for the duration of your commercial relationship with us and automatically deleted beyond 36 months. They are neither shared with third parties nor used for any purpose other than preparing and following up on your interior project. You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see your rights below).

8. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at contact@balinaisa.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
